Best Is Yet Too Come i Andrea Fappani na szczycie 100X Stakes
Już w eliminacjach mocny sygnał wysłali Andrea Fappani i Best Is Yet Too Come, uzyskując 224,5 punktu. Za nimi znaleźli się Cade McCutcheon i Noize Complaint z 223 punktami, natomiast Vintage Royaltee pod Shawnem Flaridą oraz TR Git R Done pod Gabrielem Borgesem uzyskali po 222,5.
W finale Level 4 ponownie najlepsi okazali się Best Is Yet Too Come i Andrea Fappani. Drugie miejsce zajęli Slide Action i Craig Schmersal, a trzecie Noize Complaint i Cade McCutcheon.
Za zwycięstwo w finale Level 4 Best Is Yet Too Come zarobił 62 207,87 dolarów.
Twohundreddegrees wygrywa The Invitational
W Open Level 4 zwyciężyli Cade McCutcheon i Twohundreddegrees, reprezentujący DFS Group.
Wśród reproduktorów zapisanych do programu 2026 znalazły się m.in. A Vintage Smoke, All Betts Are Off, Down Right Amazing, Dun It For Whizkey, Inferno Sixty Six, Jerseys Baby Driver, Mic Dropp, Spooks Gotta Ice, Spooks Gotta Spark, Ten Thirty czy Tricked Out Spook.
Drugie miejsce zajęli Casey Deary i Upgrayed — 223, a trzecie Trevor Elliott Dare i TR Got Em Saying Wow — 222,5.
Fappani pierwszy i drugi w NARS Open Derby
To był kolejny mocny akcent Fappaniego w Tulsa — obok zwycięstwa Best Is Yet Too Come w najważniejszej rywalizacji czterolatków.
Organizator łączy klasyczne zawody z dodatkowymi wydarzeniami i aktywnościami towarzyszącymi, tworząc z imprezy coś więcej niż serię kolejnych przejazdów.
Best Is Yet Too Come — zwycięzca 100X 4-Year-Old Open Stakes Level 4 pod Andreą Fappanim.
Twohundreddegrees — zwycięzca The Invitational Open Level 4 pod Cade'em McCutcheonem.
100X Reining Classic 2026 przechodzi do historii

100X Reining Classic 2026 Is in the Books. Tulsa Became the Center of the Reining World for Nine Days
For nine days, Tulsa Expo Square once again belonged to reining. From August 29 through September 6, the 2026 100X Reining Classic brought together 3-year-olds competing in The Invitational, 4-year-olds in the 100X Stakes, NARS Futurity and Derby competitors, as well as a wide range of additional classes.
With the final runs completed, it is time to look back at the entire event and highlight some of the horses and riders who made their mark in Tulsa.
Best Is Yet Too Come and Andrea Fappani Rise to the Top of the 100X Stakes
One of the highlights of this year's show was the 100X 4-Year-Old Open Stakes, an event created exclusively for 4-year-old horses.
Andrea Fappani and Best Is Yet Too Come had already made a strong statement in the preliminaries, scoring a 224.5. Cade McCutcheon and Noize Complaint followed with a 223, while Shawn Flarida aboard Vintage Royaltee and Gabriel Borges aboard TR Git R Done each posted a 222.5.
In the Level 4 final, Best Is Yet Too Come and Andrea Fappani once again came out on top.
Slide Action and Craig Schmersal finished second, while Noize Complaint and Cade McCutcheon took third.
Best Is Yet Too Come earned $62,207.87 for the Level 4 final victory.
The 100X Stakes was created specifically for 4-year-old horses. According to the organizers, the program was designed to support stallion owners while helping grow the sport of reining.
Twohundreddegrees Wins The Invitational
Another centerpiece of the 100X Reining Classic was The Invitational, an exclusive competition for 3-year-old offspring of stallions enrolled in the program.
In Open Level 4, Cade McCutcheon and Twohundreddegrees, representing DFS Group, claimed the championship.
The victory came with a $75,000 paycheck.
Second place was shared by two combinations: Cade McCutcheon and Midnight Crush and Casey Deary and Markedfourgreatness, with each earning $37,799.
The Invitational is particularly interesting from a breeding perspective. The program was developed to promote junior stallions and their offspring while giving 3-year-old horses the opportunity to compete for significant prize money at the very beginning of their performance careers.
The stallions enrolled in the 2026 program included A Vintage Smoke, All Betts Are Off, Down Right Amazing, Dun It For Whizkey, Inferno Sixty Six, Jerseys Baby Driver, Mic Dropp, Spooks Gotta Ice, Spooks Gotta Spark, Ten Thirty and Tricked Out Spook, among many others.
Spookadoo Doubles Up in the Futurity
Another horse worth remembering from this year's Tulsa show is Spookadoo.
With Fernando Salgado in the saddle, Spookadoo won the Mic Dropp Open Futurity Level 4 with a score of 225.
Casey Deary and Upgrayed finished second with a 223, while Trevor Elliott Dare and TR Got Em Saying Wow placed third with a 222.5.
Spookadoo also captured the NARS Open Futurity Level 4 championship.
The Mic Dropp Open Futurity L4 victory was worth $19,047.54, while the NARS Open Futurity L4 title added another $18,204.29.
Two major wins at the same show make Spookadoo one of the 3-year-olds whose future career will certainly be worth watching.
Fappani Takes First and Second in the NARS Open Derby
Andrea Fappani also made his presence felt in the competition for older horses.
In the NARS Open Derby Level 4, first place was shared by two horses shown by Fappani: OO7, owned by Sandy Vargo, and Shining Guns N Roses, owned by 23 Quarter Horses SRL.
Each earned $24,774.41.
Frankey Blue Eyes and Erik Caddeo finished third, followed by combinations including Outta Yur League with Cade McCutcheon and Steamy Dreams with Craig Schmersal.
It was another major result for Fappani in Tulsa, adding to his victory aboard Best Is Yet Too Come in the premier 4-year-old competition.
From 3-Year-Old Prospect to Derby Horse
One of the elements that makes the 100X Reining Classic particularly interesting is the opportunity to see horses at several different stages of their performance careers at one event.
The Invitational focuses on 3-year-olds while also promoting junior stallions.
The 100X Stakes gives 4-year-olds their own high-value competition after they have moved beyond the traditional futurity season but are still at an early stage of their careers.
The program also includes the NARS Futurity and Derby, along with numerous additional classes held throughout the nine days in Tulsa.
For breeders, this provides an opportunity to look beyond individual scores and observe how offspring from different stallions perform as they progress through successive stages of their careers.
Tulsa Is About More Than Competition
From the beginning, 100X has worked to build its identity not only around significant prize money but also around the way reining is presented to spectators.
The organizers combine traditional competition with additional events and activities, turning the show into more than a sequence of runs in the arena.
The official program included activities for competitors and spectators, fundraising benefiting the Reining Horse Foundation, and special competition formats.
It reflects a model increasingly visible at major Western performance events in the United States: the sport remains at the center, but an entire experience is built around it for fans, breeders, horse owners and the wider industry.
Three Horses to Remember After Tulsa
If we had to select just three horses whose careers will be particularly interesting to follow after the nine days of the 2026 100X Reining Classic, they would be:
Best Is Yet Too Come — 100X 4-Year-Old Open Stakes Level 4 Champion with Andrea Fappani.
Twohundreddegrees — The Invitational Open Level 4 Champion with Cade McCutcheon.
Spookadoo — Mic Dropp Open Futurity L4 and NARS Open Futurity L4 Champion with
Fernando Salgado.
Each is at a different stage of their performance career.
The coming months and seasons will show whether their success in Tulsa was the beginning of something much bigger.
100X Reining Classic 2026 Is in the Books
The 2026 100X Reining Classic concluded on September 6. For nine days, Tulsa brought together young prospects, established riders and some of the most interesting breeding programs in modern reining. Now the reining world's attention turns to the next major events of the 2026 season.
