According to the official National Reining Horse Association standings, updated August 27, 2026, Spooks Gotta Ice leads the rankings with $40,844.35 in earnings.
Perfect On Ice, ridden by Casey L. Deary, currently sits second with $29,154.60.
Smoking Trash with Francesco Martinotti and Smoky Mountain Rein with Martin Muehlstaetter are tied for third, each with $21,754.06 in earnings.
236.5 in Las Vegas
Spooks Gotta Ice’s position at the top of the standings is particularly notable following his latest performance at The Run For A Million.
In Las Vegas, Gabriel Borges and Spooks Gotta Ice scored an incredible 236.5, tying an NRHA record that had stood for nearly 19 years, set by Andrea Fappani and Custom Legend.
For a moment, it looked as though the pair had just delivered one of the defining performances of modern reining.
But later that same night, the bar was raised once again.
Kole Price and Golden Coins posted a 237.5, setting a new NRHA record and claiming The Run For A Million Championship.
