Startuje NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity 2026! Wielkie święto Reined Cow Horse w Teksasie. 🇵🇱PL/🇬🇧EN
9–24 października 2026 | Fort Worth, Teksas, USA.
Dziś, 9 października, w Fort Worth rozpoczyna się NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity 2026 presented by Metallic Cat – jedno z najważniejszych wydarzeń w świecie Reined Cow Horse.
Rein Work – przejazd określonego patternu, obejmującego m.in. spiny, koła, zmiany nogi i sliding stopy.
Cow Work (Fence Work) – praca z pojedynczą sztuką bydła, podczas której koń i jeździec prezentują kontrolę, zwroty przy ogrodzeniu i prowadzenie krowy po arenie.
Wyniki tych prósą sumowane, a najlepsi zawodnicy awansują do finałów. To sprawdzian wszechstronności młodego konia – od precyzji manewrów po umiejętność pracy z bydłem.
Nie tylko Futurity.
NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity to rozbudowane wydarzenie sportowe.

NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity 2026 Kicks Off! A Major Reined Cow Horse Event in Texas
October 9–24, 2026 | Fort Worth, Texas, USA
Today, October 9, the 2026 NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity presented by Metallic Cat gets underway in Fort Worth, Texas. One of the most prestigious events in the Reined Cow Horse world, it brings together talented young horses and top riders competing for coveted championship titles over more than two weeks.
Three Events, One Combined Score
The centerpiece of the competition is the Futurity for three-year-old horses. Each horse-and-rider combination must demonstrate its skills in three events:
Herd Work – working cattle in a herd, separating an individual cow and keeping it away from the group.
Rein Work – performing a designated pattern that includes maneuvers such as spins, circles, lead changes, and sliding stops.
Cow Work (Fence Work) – working a single cow, demonstrating control, turns along the fence, and the ability to maneuver the cow around the arena.
Scores from all three events are combined to determine the standings, with the highest-scoring competitors advancing to the finals.
It is a true test of a young horse's versatility, combining precise maneuvers with natural cow sense and athletic ability.
More Than Just the Futurity
The NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity is much more than a single competition. Alongside the main Futurity classes for three-year-old horses, the event also features a variety of Horse Show classes for horses at different stages of training.
The program includes additional attractions and special competitions, including Big Guns in Cowtown, scheduled for October 21.
